ACCOUNT AND DATA DELETION POLICY

1. How to delete an account

1. Open Fans Clash and sign in.
2. Open Settings, then Account.
3. Select Delete Account.
4. Review the consequences and confirm the request.
5. Complete any reasonable reauthentication step used to prevent unauthorised deletion.

If you cannot access the account or the in-app route, request deletion from the email address registered to your account. Include your profile name so we can identify the correct account.

We may ask for additional information to verify that the account belongs to you.

2. What deletion means

Deletion is permanent. It removes the account from active systems and deletes or anonymises associated personal information, including:

• email address, profile name, age confirmation and account identifiers;
• profile picture and supported-club selection;
• password/authentication record and active sessions;
• Sign in with Apple or Google connection held by Fans Clash;
• associated user content and identifiable activity, including room and poll activity, where deletion is required; and
• notification tokens and other identifiers no longer needed to operate the account.

Aggregate statistics that no longer identify you may remain. Content involving other participants may require careful removal or de-identification. Fans Clash will not keep an identifiable copy merely because deletion is technically inconvenient.

3. Timing

The account should become inaccessible promptly after confirmation. Fans Clash aims to complete deletion or anonymisation within 30 days. If additional time is lawfully required for a complex request, we will explain the reason and expected timing. Backup copies are isolated from ordinary use and should be overwritten within 90 days where technically practicable.

4. Connected sign-in providers

When an account using Sign in with Apple is deleted, Fans Clash must revoke the relevant Apple authorisation token as part of the deletion process. Fans Clash should also revoke or delete the corresponding Google sign-in connection where supported. You may separately manage permissions through your Apple ID or Google Account settings.

5. Limited lawful retention

Some information may be retained only where and for as long as reasonably necessary to:

• comply with law, a court order or a binding regulatory request;
• establish, exercise or defend legal claims;
• investigate serious safety incidents, fraud or misuse;
• protect another person’s rights or safety; or
• prevent a permanently banned user from repeatedly evading enforcement.

Any retained information will be limited, access-restricted and removed when the reason for retaining it ends. A deletion request does not erase information held independently by another user or third party outside Fans Clash’s control.

6. Effect of deletion

• You lose access to the account, profile, room history, rankings and other account-linked features.
• Deletion cannot normally be reversed after processing begins.
• The same email address may not immediately be reusable while deletion is being completed or if limited anti-abuse records must lawfully remain.
• Fans Clash is currently free and has no in-app subscriptions. If paid services are introduced, deletion instructions will separately explain billing and cancellation.

7. Other privacy rights

Account deletion is separate from rights to access, correct, restrict, object to or receive a copy of personal information. Requests can be sent to support@fansclash.app. We may verify identity before acting. Rights and exceptions vary by location; the Privacy Policy provides more information.
